As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves executing data migration tasks by carefully extracting, transforming, and loading data into designated target systems following established guidelines. The role includes building, running, and validating migration scripts and processes to maintain data quality and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle. This position requires close attention to detail and coordination to ensure seamless data transfer and integrity across systems, contributing to the overall success of the project and organizational objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the development and optimization of migration processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support continuous learning and development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align migration activities with business requirements and timelines.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Informatica Administration.
- Experience in managing data migration workflows and troubleshooting related issues.
- Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques.
- Ability to design and validate migration scripts to ensure data integrity.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of data migration processes.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex data challenges.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Informatica Administration.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
