The Role and Impact
Join our team as a Module Equipment Technician, where you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing advanced manufacturing equipment. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment adjustments that ensure production runs efficiently and reliably. Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues in manufacturing equipment.
- Execute equipment dismantling, adjustment, repair, and assembly using blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
- Conduct equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal tool performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate timely equipment servicing and repairs.
- Monitor and analyze tool performance data to identify trends, improve reliability, and address module-related challenges.
- Create and update reports on equipment failures, specifications, and maintenance guidelines.
- Support Module Engineering with experiments, equipment configuration changes, and data collection activities.
- Troubleshoot module equipment issues through data analysis and controlled experimentation to achieve or exceed performance targets.
- Assist engineering and construction teams during factory ramp activities to ensure tools are installed and configured to design specifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- 4-6 years of experience with a High School diploma OR no prior experience required with an AA or AS degree.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical, electronic, or mechatronic systems.
- Experience with equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance.
- Familiarity with technical documentation, blueprints, and manufacturing procedures.
