Administrative Assistant III, Cardiology

Position Highlights:

  •  Position: Administrative Assistant III
  • Location:  Glenview, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
  • Hours: 8am – 5pm

What you will do:

  • Provide advanced administrative support to the clinical department/division leader
  • Provide skilled patient and scheduling support to the physician practice.

What you will need:

  • License: N/A
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • Certification: N/A
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related administrative/clerical support or scheduling experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology and/or experience in health care preferred.
  • Skills: Computer skills including knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent organization, verbal and written communication, and transcription skills. Ability to perform multiple tasks and detailed work, problem solve, reason and perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of basic insurance and medical terminology.  Passing scores on the following Competency Assessments: 1) Basic Math Competency Test 2) Basic Insurance Competency Test 3) Advanced Insurance & Registration Competency Test 4) Basic Computer Skills Assessment 5) Typing Test (20 WPM) 6) Epic Cadence Competency Assessment 7) EPIC Prelude Competency Assessment 8) Epic Resolute Competency Assessment 9) Message Taking Assessment 9) Basic Word 10) Basic Excel 11) Basic PowerPoint 12) Basic Windows
