Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Finance Team Lead will oversee and manage the finance department, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations. They will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining accounting systems, processes, and controls, as well as managing the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the finance team to ensure that all accounting and finance activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and provide analysis and commentary to management.
  • Manage the financial planning and analysis process, including the development of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
  • Coordinate and manage the year-end audit and other compliance-related activities.
  • Oversee the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure adequate funding is available to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure that tax returns and other regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes with senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Have knowledge and experience of AX Dynamics 2012/ SAP/ Oracle
  • Good skills in Microsoft Excel and Google sheet
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
