Job Description Summary:

We are expanding! We are looking to add new physics positions to support our growth.
The successful candidates will work as an integral part of the OhioHealth Radiation Oncology team.
Job Details:
Physicist
This job will be primarily working at our central Ohio care sites.
Responsibilities include:
• Provide clinical physics support to our central Ohio Radiation Oncology care sites, including daily operations, routine quality assurance activities, support for SBRT treatments, support for SRS treatments, intravascular brachytherapy, HDR, chart checks, support department adherence to policies and procedures, and support all aspects of participation in clinical trials.
• Participation in the development and implementation of new treatment techniques/new technology.
• Provide rotating coverage to other sites in the system/cross coverage support. Provide rotating weekly chart check coverage.
Qualifications:
• ABR board certified or board eligible in Therapeutic Radiological Physics
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well with a team/flexibility
System wide Linac/CT/software:
• Combination of Varian iX, Truebeams, Truebeam Novalis w HDMLC, and Halcyon
• 2 Bravos HDR units – Riverside and Grant
• SRS at 3 care-sites- Riverside, Grant, and Delaware -brainlab elements and exactrac, multimet/trigem/AVM
• Cardiac brachytherapy- Novoste
• Aria/eclipse/velocity/insightive
• GE RT Discovery
• 4D CT, gated, breath-hold, prone
• Mobius/Doselab; Radformation (ClearCalc)
• Range of physics equipment including SRS mapcheck, IC profiler, MMWL, Wellhoffer scanning tanks
• New departments opening across the system

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree (Required)ACR - American College of Radiology - American College of Radiology

Degree in Radiation or Medical Physics; or equivalent combination of and Experience . Successful completion of Part I of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certification in Physics in Radiation Therapy or equivalent and meet the requirements of the Ohio Department of Health for a Qualified Medical Physicist. Radiation therapy physics Completed a CAMPEP approved residency training program in Medical Physics or equivalent.
