Main Purpose:

To support manufacturing achieves their production, quality and safety targets. To support the Project Implementation and to handle all the mechanical needs of the shop floor, warehouse, Utilities, Perimeters and Admin building (Head Office inclusive) as per instruction.


Main Accountabilities:

  • Is responsible for in line production quality
  • Maintains safe working atmosphere of the equipment and coworkers and contributes to hazard reporting process of the factory
  • Submits daily maintenance and breakdown reports.
  • Follows the spare part management procedure.
  • Is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of the line equipment
  • Performs size changeovers of the equipment if needed.
  • Is responsible for operating workshop related equipment (e.g. welding, grinding, cutting, lathe, milling operation)
  • Supports shift Electrical & Instrumentation technician & Focus Technician.
  • Participates in Plant Maintenance meetings.
  • Implements continuous improvements assignments.
  • Observes and maintains UMS principles in the line covering the operations all the time.
  • Maintains highest quality standards, ensures safe working practices and cares for environment through compliance with the guidelines set up in Company Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, customer service and consumer safety policies of Unilever Philippines.
  • To support the Project Implementation

Key Skills/Relevant Experience:

  • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Teamwork and Good Communication Skills
  • 3-5 years' experience in an Oral/Food factory environment with exposure to Quality Assurance Lathe, milling equipment experience is preferred.
  • Oral Processing & Packing Equipment’s experience is preferred
  • Once the person joins, he will take 3 months to be fully trained
  • Willing to work in Cavite
