Your role and responsibilities

As a Business Analyst in FTS Process Automation and Optimization Service, you will play a key role in gathering, assessing, evaluation and resolving demand arriving from Finance teams and Business stakeholders allowing to identify and deliver optimal IS solution suitable for their needs. You will cooperate with internal and external technical teams, translating demand into workable requirements and helping throughout whole process of solution selection up to its validation and delivery.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (2 days in the office)

This role is contributing to the FIPDS FTS Process Automation and Optimization.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Business needs identification, ROI evaluation and feasibility study conduction for automation initiatives (with support of technical team).

  • Analysis and documenting business processes, identifying inefficiencies and potential automation opportunities, defining impact on existing landscape of systems and data flows.

  • Business requirements management, translating to implementation specifications of small enhancements or big projects.

  • Creating functional and non-functional specifications, translating needs to appropriate delivery artifacts (epics/features/user stories) and testable acceptance criteria, supporting backlog refinement and managing backlog items using Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps.

  • Presenting solutions to business users, creating test plans and scenarios, supporting testing, defining UAT approach and coordinating UAT, user training and solution release to ensure solution suitability and alignment with business needs.

  • Creating and maintenance of Business and Functional Requirements Documents.

  • Supporting incident and problem planning and resolution when business or functional verification is required.

  • Collaboration with Lead BA to estimate and track team effort (capacity, status & velocity) for solutions development, change requests and releases.

  • Playing a role in building a culture of quality and dependable outcomes in routine activities.

Qualifications for the role

  • 2+ years of experience in software development lifecycle in role of Functional or Business Analyst (or similar).

  • Practical experience in requirements analysis, management and documentation.

  • Experience in supporting testing and validation, including UAT planning, test scenario development, defect triage, and business sign-off.

  • Effective communication skills (both written and spoken) in English, active listening and critical thinking.

  • Well-developed critical thinking, solid problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.

  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguity, creating structure, clarity, and momentum in changing, high-visibility environments.

  • Skilled in process mapping and BPMN (or similar standards).

  • Experience in one of the following areas/technologies: MS Power Platform, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI is a plus.
