As Bullish continues to expand its product offerings, we are looking for an experienced leader to help us continue to improve our operating model and deliver new capabilities for the exchange. The individual needs to have a strong understanding of the operational needs of running a trading platform along with an ability to lead the delivery of new functionality and product. The individual needs to be comfortable facing off to both internal and external stakeholders, including customers and regulators. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a varied role that would suit a self starter that enjoys a challenge.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning

• Collaborate with the COO to develop and execute strategic initiatives and long-term goals. Provide analytical insights and recommend strategic actions to drive innovation, growth, and operational efficiency.

Operational Efficiency

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and controls for the exchange. Develop and implement standardized procedures, frameworks, and metrics to enhance operational effectiveness and ensure consistent performance.

Project Management

• Support the execution of critical projects and initiatives. Coordinate with project managers, operations, legal, compliance and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, monitor progress, and resolve any issues or bottlenecks. 

 

 Communication and Alignment

• Facilitate effective communication and alignment between the operations teams and key stakeholders, including the executive team, department heads, and external partners. Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to communicate progress, highlight key developments, and address challenges.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across different teams, departments, and business units. Identify opportunities for synergy, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.  

 Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Develop and implement performance metrics and reporting mechanisms for the exchange to track and evaluate the performance. Analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive informed decision-making and identify areas for improvement. 

 

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Engineering or similar).

• Proven experience in a similar role, such as Operations Manager, Business Management or Program Management

• Very strong understanding of financial markets, particularly in the institutional brokerage and/or exchange space. Strong understanding of electronic trading systems, including pre and post trade reporting and data management. Ideally, experience and understanding of crypto markets

• Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
