What you will do:
To manage commercially the TFPP Purchasing / Demand Planning for assigned SBUs incorporating purchases from local and overseas suppliers
How you will do it:
Demand Planning
Cost effective management of inventory levels which satisfy Business unit performance requirements.
Ensure purchases are in line with anticipated forecasts and demand trends, set service levels and in line with product lead-time.
Driving collaboration with commercial team to incorporate /challenge sales forecast and assumptions on demand.
Lead Business Unit activities and ensuring the accurate maintenance of master data related to planning parameters by analyzing trends and lead time changes
Lead quarterly write off exercise with sales, L&D and finance
Lead monthly S&OP meetings with Sales, Procurement, Customer service and Product management to drive actions and facilitate decision making.
Work closely with various key stakeholders(commercial, PM, Global supplying plants, etc ) to meet customers’ expectations and requirements
Gather, develop, analyses and validate historical data used in preparing forecasts.
Understanding of financial impact of forecasting and related decisions.
Lead new product phase in and minimize phase out exposures .
Support Ad-hoc reporting and additional duties when required.
Supply Planning
Maintain accurate availability dates for PO issued to Supplier
Respond within SLA to customers enquiries
Ensure Follow up of materials arrivals into DC and resolves custom clearance issues with L&D
Supports Part Numbers creation
Optimize ocean and air freight cost for your Business Unit
Resolves and coordinates with L&D on shipping issues/documentations/JIRA
Leadership
Coaching of APAC team members on best practice and process improvement
What we look for:
A tertiary degree in Business / Operations or related field with minimum 4 yeas of working experience.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Forecasting / Demand Planning. Statistical Computation and analysis
Computer literate, proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge on SQL will be an added advantage.
Pronto experience (highly regarded)
