What you will do:

To manage commercially the TFPP Purchasing / Demand Planning for assigned SBUs incorporating purchases from local and overseas suppliers

How you will do it:

Demand Planning

  • Cost effective management of inventory levels which satisfy Business unit performance requirements.

  • Ensure purchases are in line with anticipated forecasts and demand trends, set service levels and in line with product lead-time.

  • Driving collaboration with commercial team to incorporate /challenge sales forecast and assumptions on demand.

  • Lead Business Unit activities and ensuring the accurate maintenance of master data related to planning parameters by analyzing trends and lead time changes

  • Lead quarterly write off exercise with sales, L&D and finance

  • Lead  monthly S&OP meetings with Sales, Procurement, Customer service and Product management to drive actions and facilitate decision making.

  • Work closely with various key stakeholders(commercial, PM, Global supplying plants, etc )  to meet customers’ expectations and requirements

  • Gather, develop, analyses and validate historical data used in preparing forecasts.

  • Understanding of financial impact of forecasting and related decisions.

  • Lead new product phase in and minimize phase out exposures .

  • Support Ad-hoc reporting and additional duties when required.

Supply Planning

  • Maintain accurate availability dates for PO issued to Supplier

  • Respond within SLA to customers enquiries

  • Ensure Follow up of materials arrivals into DC and resolves custom clearance issues with L&D

  • Supports Part Numbers creation

  • Optimize ocean and air freight cost for your Business Unit

  • Resolves and coordinates with L&D on shipping issues/documentations/JIRA

Leadership

  • Coaching of APAC team members on best practice and process improvement

What we look for:

  • A tertiary degree in Business / Operations or related field with minimum 4 yeas of working experience.

  • Clear written and verbal communication.

  • Forecasting / Demand Planning. Statistical Computation and analysis

  • Computer literate, proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Knowledge on SQL will be an added advantage.

  • Pronto experience (highly regarded)
