Department Overview

Motorola Solutions Finance Operations Center (F.O.C.) provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa, US and Latin America region. The Accounts Receivable Team (AR) is responsible for providing financial and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate cash collection. AR employees will be proactive in ensuring debtors’ accounts are maintained and payment terms are met; thereby contributing to the overall financial health of the business.

Job Description

  • Prepare and send invoices to clients

  • Identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the team; escalate issues in a timely manager to management for resolution.

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and queries, in a timely manner

  • Assist with closing at the end of every month and preparing monthly metrics and statistics for management

  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending billing reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss accounts

  • Instill and demonstrate commitment to quality, customer service, ownership, and teamwork. 


Basic Requirements

  • Maximum 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (completed or in progress) in Finance

  • Good English skills

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Highly accurate, great attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving

  • Ability to work both independently and as a cooperative team member

  • Ability to organize and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional and proactive approach to work

Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Experience working with International customers and currencies
