Moog's Commercial Aircraft Group is hiring a Global Logistics Coordinator for an onsite role in East Aurora, NY.
As Global Logistics Coordinator, you will:
Coordinate the end-to-end management within Moog for all Temporary Import Bonds (TIB)
Main point of contact between Broker (Mohawk), Moog, and suppliers
Collaboration with the above to ensure compliance with all customs regulations
Ensure accuracy of all documentation (commercial invoices, packing slips, etc. to match custom requirements)
Maintain and organize meticulous electronic and physical records of all documents
Monitor and track all TIBs to ensure timely exportation or potential extensions classifying as follows:
Open
Close to expiration
To be destroyed with customs requirements
Closed/Complete
Monitor and ensure that Moog is up to date on all temporary import regulatory changes/updates and communicate to all stakeholders
Identify issues/discrepancies that may arise during TIB process (i.e.: customs delays/documentation abnormalities) and resolve to meet/exceed customer’s requirements
To be considered for this role, you’ll typically need:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline
3+ years of experience in import/export compliance, with preferred experience/focus on Temporary Import Bonds. Licensed customs broker preferred
Solid understanding of international customs regulations, customs procedures, and TIB requirements
Thorough organizational skills and accuracy in handling complex documentation
Excellent written and verbal skills when communication with internal and external partners
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate
ACE Portal/ACE Reports experience required

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $70,000.00–$95,000.00 Annually
