For our Structural Heart Division we are looking for a Clinical Sales Representative to join our team in Sweden!

The Clinical Sales Representative position in Transcatheter Valvular Intervention (TVI), will be expected to work independently to drive revenue growth and account penetration within structural heart interventional cardiology in Sweden. This role is field based, with the focus on visiting customers and to maximize opportunities, deliver results and provide excellent clinical support during procedures. You will be spending 80% of your time with clients and clinical support is expected upon request also in other Nordic countries.

The TVI product portfolio includes devices for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair (TMVr) with MitraClip therapy, Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Repair (TTVR) and Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement (TMVR) with Tendyne as alternatives to open-heart surgery. The role will include some of these therapies.

For this exciting role we are searching for someone energetic, ambitious, motivated and pragmatic with excellent technical skills and passion for industry-leading, life-saving technology.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quota and be accountable for results

  • Provide primary technical support to physicians and nurses during clinical procedures

  • Drive new therapy adoption and ensure professional procedure execution

  • Create and implement referral activities to drive therapy development and growth

  • Deliver winning offers as response to tender requests incorporating a deep understanding of the market

  • Network and build relationships with key opinion leader physicians and hospital staff to strengthen our strategic portfolio

  • Plan assigned territory and work with the Division Manager to develop account plans to meet agreed revenue targets

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology or Nursing or another equivalent field

  • 3+ years relevant sales experience in medical devices or pharma

  • Experience (clinically or commercially) within cardiology is preferred

  • Be flexible and able to work in a dynamic work and changing environment

  • Possess strong integrity and work ethic

  • Willingness to travel to hospitals and medical centers throughout the country and be prepared for overnight stays every week

  • Strong teamwork skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English

  • Ability to get the job done and exhibit a sense of urgency on critical time dependent issues

  • Be persistent despite obstacles and opposition

  • Ability to identify, initiate and implement and execute projects independently
