Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and endpoints

• Monitor, analyse, and respond to security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities

• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing support, and risk evaluations

• Lead remediation activities for identified security gaps and vulnerabilities

• Support security architecture reviews for new systems, applications, and projects

• Develop and maintain security standards, procedures, and technical documentation

• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Business teams on security requirements and best practices

• Mentor junior security engineers and provide technical guidance

• Support compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2, regulatory standards)

• Stay current on emerging threats, attack vectors, and security technologies
   

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)

  • Endpoint and server security

  • SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR tools

  • Vulnerability management and remediation

• Experience with cloud security (AWS / Azure / GCP preferred)

• Hands-on experience with incident response and threat analysis
   

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP, CISM, or CISA

• CEH, GCIA, GCIH, or equivalent

• Cloud security certifications (e.g. AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer)
