What we're Looking For?
We are looking to hire a talented Senior iOS Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of engineers to develop, improve, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications.
What will your responsibilities include?
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a constructive, solution oriented environment;
- Reviewing product specifications in order to give implementation estimates and product feedback;
- Software creation, unit testing, adhering to departmental standards and guidelines;
- Writing technical documentation that transfers knowledge effectively;
- Code reviewing, by and for peers;
- Communicating effectively with project stakeholders;
- Writing clean and efficient codes for iOS applications;
- Supporting the application lifecycle from concept to design, testing, release and maintenance;
- Working on bug fixing and improving application performance;
- Suggesting changes and enhancements;
- Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols;
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an iOS Developer;
- Passion for building a great consumer product that our customers will love;
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum);
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate iOS applications;
- Ability to create simple yet extendable UI designs;
- Have a clear understanding of development best practices and release cycle;
- Familiarity with CI/CD platform and pipelines;
- Proficient eperience with code versioning tools (Git);
- Knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code;
- Good written and verbal communication in English;
Tech stack & environment:
- Our code is using the latest Swift and iOS versions;
- Our apps use native UI components developed mostly with XIBs & Storyboards, but we are not afraid of getting ourhands dirty with programable UI as well;
- UI features are highly data driven and developed taking in consideration best user interaction and are using Qubit AB testing tool that allows for traffic allocation and multiple user experiences;
- We plan to use SwiftUI in our features the near future;
- Our Continuous integration pipeline is based on Azure CI in order to have builds generated with a high frequency;
- OnDemandResources(ODR) is an important API that helps us to deliver content at a large scale in our applications;
- We develop multiple internal SDKs that need to be modular, reusable and stable;
- Automation of manual processes by scripting in Swift and Bash is pretty common in our teams;
- Cloud computing is an important aspect in our fast expansion and AWS S3 is used also by our iOS apps for consuming multiple web services, cdn storage, configuration files;
- We keep an open mind set, and we support innovation in our processes, technologies;
- We iterate and adapt fast, listening to our customers feedback in an Agile environment;
- We have the autonomy to explore and leverage state of the art technologies;
- We have our own products that we develop over the years, you don't need to say goodbye to your code at the end of the project/sprint;
