The Project Manager is part of the Network Distribution team and is responsible for ensuring that the appearance of the branch enhances the overall customer experience.  Project managers oversee all branch projects (Refresh, Renovations, Relocations, DeNovo Builds, Branch Appearance) and ADA Readily Moveable Object Inspection programs.  Collaboration with key partner groups is critical to ensure the branch projects are completed on-time and on-budget, that appearance standards are met and maintained and that the branch is well maintained.  In conjunction with the Market Planner, this individual is also responsible for creating a Master Market Plan that optimizes the regional distribution network, as well as analyzing potential DeNovo and Relocation sites and collaborating with key partner groups to ensure successful buildouts and openings.  This position will provide direct support to the Region Head for NY Metro.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execution of all branch projects (refresh, renovations, relocations, de novo builds); identify and prioritize branches within strategy
  • Collaborate with Market Planner to assess new branch (DeNovo and Relocation) sites
  • Collaborate with Real Estate Services (RES) and regional leadership to identify branch project scope
  • Ensure timely execution of all branch projects with minimal changes to original scope
  • Monitor all phases of refresh, renovation, relocation and de novo projects; escalate issues impacting branch personnel or putting the project at risk for an on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Serve as primary point of contact for branch personnel during refresh, renovation, relocation and de novo projects
  • Execution of branch appearance and ADA inspection programs; influence branch personnel to adhere to standards
  • Partner with RES to ensure branch related issues are resolved quickly and cost-effectively

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years in total; 5+ years specifically in planning and project management experience
  • 4-year college degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Presentation and interaction experience with senior executives
  • Detailed working knowledge of branch functions and banking operations
  • Detailed knowledge of New York markets
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large, complex projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong presentations skills; ability to cater presentation content and style to audience, including senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others to gain buy-in without positional authority
  • Strong background in construction and facilities management projects

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
