Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support Mid-Atlantic as a Regional Sales Manager and individual contributor
  • Provide support to Mid-Atlantic sales team by participating in and leading client and prospect meetings and/or engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Collaborate on sales opportunities, pipelines, forecasts and business efficiencies Coach, mentor and develop the sales team in all aspects to build to the highest performing team
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and executive team to develop strategies to meet the organization’s goals
  • Ensure communications and collateral are coordinated and represent the GuidePoint Security brand
  • Direct implementation of sales policies and practices
  • Build revenue generating relationships with all key partners at the local and national level.
  • Consistently meet sales and profitability goals
  • Position, configure and quote product and service solutions to clients.
  • Participate in industry organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, OWASP etc.
  • Manage leads and opportunities through the companies Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Accurately and consistently report sales forecasts and opportunity funnels
  • Participate in creation, editing and closure of services proposals.
  • Work with GuidePoint Security vendors to understand and position their technologies, understand and articulate their value proposition to clients.
  • Participate in field marketing to generate interest and provide information to the client prospect community to include driving attendance to such events and activities
  • Represent GuidePoint Consultants to clients and be able to articulate our areas of expertise
  • Set proper expectations and maintain open communication with clients and vendors through the lifecycle of the sales process.
  • Effectively leverage supporting resources in the sales process with the spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Professionally develop and present sales presentations to large groups and executive level clients. 

Experience Requirements:

  • 10+ years successfully leading teams focused on enterprise security software sales leveraging a consultative selling approach
  • Background and experience with Risk, Compliance, and Security offerings.
  • Proven track record of building and leading results-driven sales teams
  • Excellent track record of inspiring, coaching and developing a team to high performance
  • High level of integrity with a strong work ethic and proactive thought leadership
  • Highly energetic, passionate about servicing the client, and driven to succeed
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial approach and thinking
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability to identify and resolve complex operational, regional and executional problems, with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to deliver and thrive in a fast paced, agile environment
  • Excited and passionate about GuidePoint Security story/mission/values
  • Commitment to work collaboratively and cross functionally
  • Proven ability to exercise initiative and judgment and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with close attention to details
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills with both the client and internally at all levels

  • Proven track record to learn and develop professionally and encourage the same of team members
