SMX is seeking a highly motivated Helpdesk Technician with demonstrated proficiency in customer service and support.

This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on a DoD contract.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides first level technical support for personnel in various locations who have NMCI assets and peripherals
  • Generates, monitors, and tracks Move-Add-Change (MAC) requests for funded services
  • Addresses, escalates and/or tracks local technical issues and remediation
  • Facilitates collection of functional requirements from staff and end-users
  • Identifies and documents the current functional requirements of NAWCWD applications
  • Follows Configuration Management (CM) processes and utilization of tools identified
  • Submits Account buildouts for customers

Required Skill & Experience

  • Required clearance:  Secret or the ability to obtain
  • Proficient with Windows Operating Systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proficient user of NET and HPSM
  • Knowledge of NMCI, Field Services, and STRAN processes and procedures 
  • General IT certifications
  • IT college credits

The proposed salary for this position is:
$42,200$63,400 USD
