Join the Agropur Oka team as a production supervisor on night shifts and weekends.

Our Oka plant specializes in the manufacture of fine cheeses recognized across the country, including the famous OKA cheese, a symbol of quality and Quebec cheese-making tradition. Joining our team means helping to perpetuate a unique know-how, in an environment where innovation, quality and collaboration are at the heart of our values.

The position involves alternating night and weekend day shifts, according to an established cycle. This scheduling model allows for several days of rest between blocks of work, including up to 6 consecutive days off during the month.

• Salary range 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (Base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, training, and job-related skills.)

What’s involved in this role:

Reporting to the Production and Maintenance Manager, the Production Supervisor:

• Coordinates all production activities from milk reception to shipping (Reception, Processing, Packaging, Aging, Shipping).

• Ensures continuity of operations and adherence to production plans.

• Manages workforce planning and staffing.

• Oversees proper use of raw materials, ingredients, and cleaning products.

• Enforces health and safety standards.

• Maintains food safety and quality compliance.

• Supports environmental program initiatives.

• Supervises sanitation of equipment.

• Ensures compliance with the collective agreement.

• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Leads, develops, and trains team members.

• Encourages employee accountability and involvement in decision-making.

What you need to join our team: 

• College or university degree in a relevant field.

• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Knowledge of Kronos / UKG and Workday (an asset).

• Strong focus on operational improvement.

• Availability to occasionally cover other shifts as needed.
