Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of essential applications. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems, all while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality support to users and stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Experience with SQL and data manipulation techniques.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.
-Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of data pipelines and integrations across Snowflake, Oracle, SAP, and AWS environments to support analytics and AI-driven applications.
-Define and enforce data governance standards, including lineage, data quality, retention, access control, and PII masking/tokenization.
-Establish the data architecture and roadmap for phased AI/RAG projects, from data ingestion through embedding, retrieval, and model integration.
-Oversee development and operation of embedding pipelines and vector databases (OpenSearch or similar) including schema design, indexing, and re-embedding processes.
-Integrate structured and unstructured datasets (billing, usage, call logs, web behavior, weather) into unified analytical and model-ready data layers.
-Direct the performance, observability, and reliability strategy for data pipelines, defining latency and accuracy targets and implementing monitoring dashboards.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, analysts, security, product owners) to deliver on program milestones and data quality objectives.
-Manage and mentor a team of data professionals, setting technical direction and ensuring alignment with business strategy.
-Drive the delivery of secure, compliant data solutions and coordinate reviews with privacy and security teams before external model integration.
-Serve as the primary liaison for data strategy between business, IT, and external cloud/AI partners, ensuring all technical and compliance requirements are met.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
