About Your Role:
As an Ecommerce Manager at Dollar Tree’s corporate office, you’ll drive digital sales, optimize the customer journey, and collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless and engaging eCommerce experience. You’ll also work closely with peers to establish cohesive and synergistic merchandise strategies and plans for the most effective assortment mix and marketing presentation of products.
Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and execute the eCommerce strategy in alignment with department goals to grow online revenue and improve conversion rates.
• Create financial plans for specific product categories and classes to meet company revenue and margin targets.
• Create quarterly category business plans based on historical results and market trends.
Sales & Performance Management:
• Own online sales and margin performance; support team members in achieving their goals.
• Monitor KPIs including traffic, conversion, AOV, and cart abandonment.
• Use tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to inform decisions.
Digital Merchandising:
• Manage product information and lifecycle for all items in the digital selling channel.
• Oversee product categorization, visual merchandising, and site navigation.
• Leverage data to optimize product placement and enhance user experience.
• Create SKU-level assortment plans for online and offline promotions.
• Maintain awareness of industry and competitor trends to inform product recommendations.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal departments such as marketing, IT, and supply chain teams.
• Work closely with Marketing to develop promotional strategies based on sales history, seasonality, and market insights.
• Communicate effectively across formal and informal channels, encouraging innovation and idea sharing.
Operations & Platform Management:
• Manage eCommerce platform performance and vendor relationships.
• Create and document new processes to improve merchandising operations and efficiency.
• Monitor merchandising operations and respond to issues and opportunities proactively.
Your Required Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years’ experience in one of the following areas: replenishment buying/procurement, merchandising, store management, operations, or brand management
• Demonstrated ability to coach and train
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Retail math literacy and application of concepts to daily operations
• Curious mindset with a strong desire to find new ways to improve the customer experience
Preferred Requirements:
• eCommerce experience in merchandising, inventory, or operations
• Experience using Google Analytics or other Web Analytics Tools
• Experience with SEO, A/B testing, and UX best practices is a plus
