Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Application Developer in Irving, Texas.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for the development and implementation of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Components, Templates, and Rest Services using Sling concepts. Upgrade AEM to the latest version and enhance performance of the application. Design the complete solution with optimal performance using the latest features in AEM. Code coverage implementation for services and POJO classes to improve the quality of the applications. Work on integration of different modules with AEM such as - Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Ensighten, Tealium, and Salesforce. Gather requirements and suggest best approaches. Provide root cause analysis and impact analysis to stakeholders for any identified business requirements. Work closely with Application Product Owners and Business Users to collect information and analyze business requirements. Develop custom workflows for page activation and deactivation. Provide design recommendations for system and business process improvements. Provide technical assistance from design and development standpoints. Develop enhancements, system documentation, and production support and implement procedures for quality improvement and development. Design, track, and coordinate project activities to meet project deliverables. Create listeners and event handlers for triggering cache generation to populate maps on node changes. Create workflow models and document process steps. Utilize HTL and Sling Models to implement Templates and Components. Develop business workflows and update workflows image renditions by editing the DAM Update Asset workflow model. Work on OSGi Services, Components, Sling Servlets, Schedulers, Event Handlers, and custom Workflows. Utilize Apache Sling/JCR for Content Resolution and handling dynamic data. Optimize searches by creating Oak indexes so SQL Queries return faster results. Build web pages using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JQuery. Utilize dispatcher caching rules to cache the static pages and static JSON responses. Implement content migration strategies and execute them successfully in both lower and production environments. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple positions.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, plus 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with: (a) developing business workflows and updated workflows image renditions by editing the DAM Update Asset workflow model; (b) creating listeners and event handlers for triggering cache generation to populate maps on node changes; (c) using Apache Sling/JCR for Content Resolution and handling dynamic data; (d) optimizing searches by creating Oak indexes so SQL Queries return faster results; and (e) utilizing all of the following: SDLC; AEM; JDK; Apache Felix; JSP; JAVA; JavaScript; AJAX; CSS; Web Service; Junit; GIT; Jenkins; Maven; HTML; JSON; and jQuery. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.
