The Member Benefits Administration Division at BCBST is looking to add a PBX Operator to our team!  This position will receive and route incoming telephone calls.  Previous call center or switchboard experience is preferred.  In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with all lines of business within BCBST by answering and re-directing phone calls to the appropriate team or individual, to suit the callers’ needs.  Experience in MBA is highly preferred.  Commercial Ops experience is a plus.  This remote role will have a rotating shift to cover the hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. EST.  Does this opportunity sound like a great match?  If so, we look forward to receiving your application.

Job Responsibilities

  • Addressing minor issues and complaints. Ensuring all customer communication is clearly documented.
  • Answering inbound customer service calls; redirecting phone calls when appropriate.
  • Ensuring all calls are accurately and quickly routed to the proper area.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 1 year - Customer Service telephone experience required

Skills\Certifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Customer service oriented
