About the Role
Together with the Head of Provider Engagement & Quality and other team colleagues, implement healthcare initiatives to support the Provider Network strategy.WHAT YOU WILL DO
Work in a highly collaborative manner with colleagues to successfully drive progress in the management of healthcare providers including hospitals, clinics, doctors, day surgery centres, screening partners etc. to ensure long-term sustainability of AIA Singapore’s health business and portfolio.
Drive provider negotiation strategy, including provider contracts that facilitate effective healthcare cost management.
Manage and maintain the healthcare providers network and partners for AIA Singapore.
Support initiatives, together with team colleagues, in the development of triage/preferred network strategies, clinical pathways, concurrent review processes, disease management strategies, and others medical management related improvements.
Liaise with healthcare providers and partners, including but not restricted to doctors, clinic staff and hospitals to ensure compliance with contractual SLAs and KPIs.
Coordinate with healthcare providers and partners to ensure a smooth customer journey for AIA clients, incl. supporting on pre-auth requests and claims related queries as required on an ad-hoc basis.
Develop, plan and execute strategies of service feedback to ensure excellence in service quality by our healthcare providers and partners.
Perform regular clinic audits and reviews of our panel providers.
Perform investigations on service quality issues or lapses that have been highlighted by customers or agents.
Perform new and regular relevant certification checks (SMC and ACRA), and background checks of our healthcare providers and partners.
Successful completion of project deliverables within specified milestones including negotiations and approval of provider contracts.
Deployment of best practices in provider management.
Support management and control of claims costs and medical claims inflation to achieve Loss Ratio target.
Improve customer satisfaction, cost effective and quality of care metrics related to medical management and care coordination.
Any other ad-hoc healthcare projects or initiatives.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant healthcare provider management experience.
Knowledge of clinical best practice and market practices.
Wider experience of other functions such as operations / insurance product etc. will be an added advantage.
Ability to work with external advisors, including consultants and market research advisors.
Flexible, able to work in a dynamic environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills are essential along with proven track record of delivery.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Strong and effective interpersonal relationship skills and a team player.
Analytical problem solving / decision making and judgment skills.
