The Sr. Analyst, Technology will be responsible for providing support across the enterprise for the implemented technology.  The Sr. Analyst will be accountable for responding to business unit inquiries via phone and email and supporting their needs in a timely manner.  In addition, he/she will be responsible for ensuring that purchased goods and services meet the requirements of Ariba by managing ongoing compliance activities.  The Sr. Analyst will also support the Senior Manager by providing reporting as required and preparing project presentations.  The Sr. Analyst will be working with Vendors and Internal Stakeholders and will be the single point of contact.  Ensuring vendors are adhering to SLA’s and providing process improvement recommendations.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to confirm business requirements for purchases via Ariba/Fieldglass are adhering to procurement processes and policies

  • Liaison between business stakeholders and suppliers to measure performance and identify risk

  • Interact with suppliers on purchasing order receipts, ad-hoc requests/questions, resolution of invoicing and receiving discrepancies

  • Participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly onsite/offsite vendor and internal business unit meetings. 

  • Monitors supplier performance against contract obligations to mitigate risk and resolve issues and creates action plan

  • Identify value propositions

  • Responsible for troubleshooting all vendor problems, including troubleshooting of the procurement technology systems when required.

  • Maintain Company Confidential Information

  • Ability to deep dive into data cleansing and sync issues.

Skills and Capabilities:

  • Excellent analytical skills, and ability to work without supervision

  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and respond back to key stakeholders in timely manner

  • Strong organizational skills and ability set own priorities based on needs

  • Proficient with the English language, Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, presentation

  • Team player

  • Strong Microsoft Windows capability

  • Comfortable with a broad range of procurement practices

  • Background within in-direct procurement preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with SAP Ariba including P2P/SRM invoicing and purchasing

  • Experience with SAP Fieldglass, an asset.

Role Requirements:

  • A minimum of BCom in business or related field of study

  • 2-4 years relevant experience (including vendor management, exposure to  contract negotiations, sourcing ) specifically within the retail industry

  • Previous experience within sourcing and procurement practices

  • Previous experience with SAP and Ariba
