The Consumer Business Unit is seeking an experienced and energetic Strategic Marketing Manager who thrives on innovation and is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences in emerging audio technologies. The role gives the opportunity to combine technical strength with business acumen drive business development in the fast-growing hearable & wearable market segment. The successful candidate will be a strong team player working with sales, system applications and business unit stakeholders across ADI to drive success.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping next-generation audio experiences. Your responsibilities include:

  • Understand end-market dynamics and ecosystems, track emerging needs, identify next generation trends and define ADI’s path to maximizing value creation and capture.

  • Work with system applications engineers to develop clear understanding of system requirements, gaps in the ecosystem, and value that can be provided.

  • Market analysis, segmentation strategy and key influencer in driving technology roadmaps and requirements.

  • Drive revenue, gross margin, market share and other KPIs as determined, perform regular revenue and pipeline analysis and report out to BU management.

  • Investigate, build, and convert new streams of revenue and business models.

  • Engage with third party ecosystem partners to determine a make, buy, or partner strategy.

  • Collaborate with business unit stakeholders to leverage technology from across ADI to drive additional customer engagements and new business opportunities.

  • Work and coordinate with the ADI Sales team to drive the consumer opportunity pipeline, business capture and manage customer satisfaction and support.

  • Manage strategic marketing campaigns, branding and drive thought leadership articles.

  • Customer visits to identify market needs and future products direction.

Desired requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering. MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10+ years industry experience, preferably with some background in consumer markets and audio applications.

  • A good knowledge of the Consumer Market, Audio, Biometric Sensing and Battery Management Technologies would be beneficial.

  • Prior experience working with legal and engineering in creating EULAs, SLAs, and collaboration agreements is desirable.

  • Proven experience of driving design wins to grow a business, customer focused.

  • Proven experience working with Sales org and working directly with customers.

  • Experience managing opportunity pipeline and revenue.

  • Motivated, results oriented and creative problem solver with good writing, presentation, and overall communication skills

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% globally (U.S., Europe, Asia)
