Senior Software Engineer F/T

Overview
Participate in the implementation of new systems, develop strategic thinking and develop process, tools, and frameworks to help ensure effectiveness across teams.
Role.
• Plan and execute maintenance, upgrades, and migrations activities indifferent environments as Dev, Stage, and Prod.
• Design and develop resilient scalable infrastructure that avoids downtime and service interruptions Interface with external logging, monitoring, and security vendors.
• Build out infrastructure as code, standard system images, and application images in Docker.
• Oversee and provide technical support to junior team members.
• Help defining requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to standards, processes and best practices.
• Participate on incident resolution calls and provide weekly on-call support.

About You
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, Electronics, or related and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Technology Lead, Project Manager, or related.
• Qualifying experience must include at least six (6) years with each of the following: AWS cloud services provider; VPC (NAT Gateways, Internet Gateways, Routing Tables, Subnets); EC2 (Autoscaling groups, launch configurations, spot instances, reserved instances, volumes, and different types of load balancers); And must include 4 years of experience with the following: Kubernetes; Infrastructure as Code Experience (Cloud formation, Terraform); Programming methodologies: Python, Bash, Go, or similar.
• Rate of pay: $152,402.00 - 184,000.00 / year

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
