The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).

What You Will Do:
Accountable to facility leadership and governing committees to achieve corporate supply chain performance targets by managing end-to-end facility supply chain and logistics, including inventory management, compliance and order-to-delivery results meeting or exceeding targets
Leads and manages facility deployment of the Supply Chain Planning Process, which develops the “Plan for Every Part” and Pull Replenishment methods for a facility, coordinating and managing the structure and work plans for multiple, cross-functional work teams
Leads efforts which requires the ability to work effectively with facility leaders and governing committees comprised of diverse, multi-functional leaders. Responsible for leading collaboration and communications across multiple facility functions, in order to effectively deploy lean material flow plans for a facility, which may include implementing changes to factory floor layout and material presentation to the point of use
Leads and manages all aspects of compliance for IRA/IDA, inventory management and material security ensuring the facility processes are compliant and adhered to.
Supports multi-functional facility teams deploying the standard processes for new production introduction (NPI), Engineering, and Product Change Control to drive NPI and Engineering/Product Change Control process conformance
Leads efforts to identify and resolve facility supply chain constraints, which requires the ability to work across cross-functional areas and collaborate and negotiate complex solutions. Drives communications, root cause corrective action and ultimate resolution of supply chain constraints and focuses on improving inventory record accuracy, waste reduction, and increased throughput efficiency, increased velocity and increased inventory turns.
Provides leadership, coaching, focus, motivation, and encouragement to direct reports. Responsible for coaching, developing, and mentoring resources. Responsible for all personnel issues and performance evaluation of direct reports, including developing, capability building, and succession planning.
What You Will Have:
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Extensive Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Inventory Management - MFG: Extensive Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.
Logistics Management: Extensive Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
Supply Chain Management - MFG: Extensive Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes. Knowledge of supply chain planning processes and systems (ex: SAP)
What Will Set You Apart
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification
Knowledge of 6 Sigma Project Management principles, lean concepts and tools
Leadership experience
QAD experience

Summary Pay Range:
$108,360.00 - $162,480.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
