Manufacturing & Engineering Internship – Sustainability, productivity and cost optimization activities for Silicone emulsions units.

We are looking for you, an ambitious Master’s student in engineering (m/f), to support our department by doing an internship project in for our location in Seneffe, Belgium.

The department that will welcome you is part of the Consumer Solutions Business specialized in the production of Silicones Antifoam, Emulsions and Sealants (Manufacturing department)

Project description

The objective of the work is to gather/collect information to support Process safety documentation, and work on various sustainability, productivity and cost optimization activities in Silicone emulsions units:

- Prepare documentation of pressure relief devices useful for calculation notes creation.

- Work on the implementation of process safety improvement projects in the production area.

- Support implementation of batch tracking tool (PI Vision) on several production units.

- Work on the development of a new waste recovery process unit.

- Work on the optimization of logistic workflows and material storage areas.

- Work on procedures optimization.

Qualifications

  • You are currently studying for a master degree in engineering (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Material Science / Metallurgical Engineer).
  • You have a good working knowledge of English and French.

You can start between November 2024 and January 2025 for a period of 4 to 6 months (exact timing to be discussed).
