This role is primarily remote with expected international travel.
In this role, the Director of International Strategy & Sales Enablement, will partner closely with the product and sales teams, global marketing, and other internal stakeholders across Motorola Solutions to drive our strategy and plan for adoption and accelerated growth of our expansion portfolio of solutions, including software, video and services. We’re looking for someone who can develop innovative approaches with shared value for our customers, our partners, and Motorola Solutions.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Conduct an in-depth analysis of our expansion business and develop a deep understanding of key value drivers to identify growth opportunities across all expansion portfolios
Strategic planning for the introduction and launch of expansion products aligned to the Global Product Organization
Gather and analyze the voice of the customer and sales to develop solution requirements
Develop key strategic insights for executive-level presentations and drive critical business decisions
Evaluate and adjust strategies to respond to changing and/or competitive markets
Partner with leaders to bring new products and solutions to market working with and ensuring alignment across product, marketing, finance, operations and supply chain
Research and maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape and overall market trends to define market leading solutions, including quarterly competitive reporting
Understand political, economic, social and technological regional landscape, including current and long term customer missions and technology needs and how they may impact business goals and roadmaps
Define and communicate product positioning and key product messages to regional sales teams and provide updates to key initiatives & roadmaps such as Long Range Planning and related duties as assigned
Provide support as required on new and innovative tender responses
Lead and develop top talent within the group, as well as fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree is required; Preferred emphasis in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, IT , Cybersecurity or Data Analytics
8+ years experience in one of the following: Sales, Engineering or Business Operations
Proven experience in strategy development and implementation
Solid understanding of SaaS, cloud technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow-through
Deals well with ambiguity and identifies systemic approaches to solving problems
Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
Ability to deeply assess the competition and drive perception-shifting efforts that differentiate Motorola Solutions in compelling ways
Experience in developing and/or executing sales enablement programs, with experience around needs assessment
Experience in driving and leading change in a fast paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience in technology transformation and change management
International Travel Requirements - 50%
Target Base Salary Range: $150,000- $160,000 USD
