Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for Integrated Master Scheduler role to work in our San Antonio, TX office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems mission. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex systems. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as Defensive Cyber Technical Expert providing guidance for all Air Force Defensive Cyber Programs for the Air Force Material Leader
- Technical lead on Air Force-wide level boards and review processes such as Enterprise Review Boards, Risk Oversight Management Board in order to provide technical direction, coaching and mentoring to multiple major defensive cyber programs of record
- Strategic Advisor to Air Force Material Leader to inform government decision on major program of record level purchases, architectural and engineering design choices to provide specific technical guidance to subordinate teams working on components of the AF-wide enterprise.
- Provide technical coordination and synchronization across multiple lines of Air Force Material Leader efforts resulting in the culmination of DCO operational capabilities throughout conception, design, development and sustainment acquisition lifecycle phases
- Lead development, and implementation of new and/or emerging technologies and processes to inform government decision for the AF-wide Security Operations Center and Defensive Cyber systems conducting cyber operations in support of impacting IT systems, business IT( Finance, personnel, etc) and operational IT (aircraft mission planning systems, aircraft maintenance systems.)
- Provide strategic direction and integration across multiple phenomenology to include sensoring computers, routers, switches, aircraft data bus, industrial control systems, radio frequency, and data link networks.
- Provide strategic direction and integration for data engineering across multiple technologies to provide common data fabric
- Provide strategic direction and integration for data analysis to correlate multiple inputs into a common community of interest
- Able to review commercial and DoD intelligence and provide direction to create new and novel cyber defenses to counter Advanced Persistent Threats
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Cyber or IT-focused field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity, accompanied by 12+ years of pertinent cybersecurity experience, or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience; additional years will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Understand the relationship between applications, operating systems, hardware and software
- Experience in total system design, including networks
- Process improvement experience
- Prior experience developing and deploying solutions to customer requirements
- Recognized expert in security principles, policy and regulations
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability communicate to General Officer and Senior Executive Service (SES) leaders while demonstrating a commitment to personal and corporate excellence, ethical behavior, and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and guiding a technical team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
- Ability to mentor and lead a technical team to include functional management of direct reports.
- Understanding of and experience with a managed services approach.
- Strong project management skills
- Must possess an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered.
- Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber or USCYBERCOM
- Prior experience with defensive cyber
- Understanding OS, CAS, COTS products and lifecycles

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
