The opportunity:

A Project Manager with proven experience who leads teams to deliver high quality projects on budget and within a specified timeframe and experience in implementing websites across markets and Business Units.

What you'll get to do:

  • Overseeing and maintaining rollout cadence: Ensure the timely delivery of website rollouts and aligning with the yearly expectations.
  • Managing timelines and deliverables: Coordinate with internal teams, developers, and Business Units to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitoring the technical build: Oversee the development team’s progress to ensure adherence to technical specifications and functionality requirements.
  • Setup and testing: Collaborate with Business Units to ensure the setup is aligned with their needs, overseeing user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring all issues are addressed before launch.
  • During this phase, the Embed team is involved to initiate the go-live process, ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase.
  • Assist the Product Owners and Programme Manager to align on the commitments for each quarter ahead of the Programme Increment Events.
  • Produce accurate weekly progress reports internally and externally
  • Confidently interact with senior management and business stakeholders providing accurate and credible information.
  • Inspire and lead teams with little Agile experience
  • Motivate the team to achieve individual and team objectives
  • Run effective sprint ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning and estimation sessions, showcases and sprint retrospectives
  • Support the efficient flow of work by the team(s), helping them remove obstacles and make improvements so that sprint goals are met.
  • Issues and Risks identification, mitigation, and resolution, seeking advice/support where needed
  • Build customer confidence by understanding their needs and delivering first class solutions
  • Set and manage client expectations, keeping them informed, particularly when resolving issues.
  • Keep up to date with emerging industry practices and focus on improving the delivery processes
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the Business Units to discuss progress, address concerns, and align on expectations.
  • Hold technical meetings as necessary to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and ensure all technical aspects are on track.
  • Provide monthly programme updates to stakeholders, summarizing progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones.

What you should have:

  • Proven experience of software development Project Management
  • Working knowledge of Agile frameworks, in particular Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience in delivering successful rollouts for eCom projects
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management
  • Ability to define, manage and deliver to customer expectations within strict deadlines
  • Experience of leading and managing teams
  • Experience of managing 3rd parties
  • Good understanding of agile delivery technique and lean ways of working
  • Strong time management & organisational skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills and an ability to handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy
  • Relevant Agile Project Management qualifications

You will collaborate with our UK project team, so we’ll need you to be available until 18:00 PL time.

  • Salary depending on presented skills: 14000-19000 pln/month (B2B contract)
