Payroll Analyst – Part-Time (20 hours/week)

We’re seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage payroll operations for our Danish employees. This part-time role (20 hours per week) offers a great balance of autonomy and collaboration, with responsibilities spanning payroll processing, system maintenance, employee support, and compliance.
What You’ll Do
Payroll Operations
Process monthly payroll using Visma, including updates, reconciliations, and settlements.
Ensure payroll compliance with Danish laws and internal policies.
Maintain payroll system data, including employee changes, allowances, and pension contributions.
Reconcile payroll runs and ensure sufficient funds for salary and pension payments.
Employee Support
Act as the main contact for salary slips, taxation, vacation balances, and Danish vacation law.
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Support employees with requests related to the “Fritvalgslønkonto” and additional vacation hours.
System & Reporting
Maintain and update payroll systems and process documentation.
Input and upload data from time registration systems.
Generate reports for internal use and external authorities.
Support internal and external audits.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with HR, Finance, and Plant Administrators to ensure payroll requirements are met.
Liaise with pension providers and government systems (Virk) for refunds and reporting.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a similar payroll role.
Strong knowledge of Danish payroll regulations and practices.
Experience with Visma and ProMark preferred.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills in both Danish and English.
Ability to manage sensitive data with discretion and professionalism.
Comfortable working under pressure and handling fluctuating workloads.
Education & Skills
Relevant education, minimum HTX level.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Detail-oriented, systematic, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
