What you will do? Job Scope & Purpose

As a Continuous Improvement Jr Manager, you will enhance the timely and accurate processing of orders to help Johnson Controls achieve its revenue targets. You will establish a structure to support ongoing activities, manage and motivate team members, and drive their development. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering the department's continuous improvement savings.

Provide customer service by managing incoming inquiries and handling orders. Oversee the process from receiving customer purchase orders to the receipt of payment.

  • Document processes to detect operational trends, determine root causes, and present findings and recommendations.

  • Drive solutions to improve the customer service process, internal communication, and data integrity.

  • Use a data-driven approach and an eye for innovation to implement digital solutions.

  • Manage projects to ensure the execution of internal projects, deliverables, and outcomes.

  • Perform data analytics to build and interpret results, informing strategic design.

Minimum required Skills

  • Process improvement skills: problem solving and analytical skills for identifying and contributing to process improvements.

  • Functional skills: Process (end-to-end) oriented thinking, planning and organization skills, analytical and conceptual thinking.

  • Stakeholder management skills: managing different stakeholder groups across Functions and Operating Companies with communication skills.

  • Training and Change management skills: conducting trainings, developing training materials and supporting change to new ways of working.

Profit qualities

  • Work experience in customer service for the manufacturing process, including order entry and order management.

  • Experience with customer service platforms (SalesForce), ERP implementations (SAP S4 Hana)

  • Data analytics and using tools to build and interpret information (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (Black Belt)

  • Passport and Visa
