Guidehouse is looking for an experienced people analytics leader to join our people analytics function. The Associate Director, Data Analytics role will report to the Executive Director, Human Capital Operations and lead a small team responsible for dashboard development across the employee lifecycle, data governance, and full stack HR reporting. This role will partner closely with other teams in Human Capital, Information Technology, Finance, Sales Enablement, Legal, as well as our Executive Leadership team and other stakeholders. The goal over the next year will be to scale our ability to provide insights on all aspects of the employee experience including employee attraction and selection, performance, growth, engagement, compensation, diversity, retention and people operations. The ideal candidate will have skills in scaling data services and driving self-service for stakeholders, execution rigor to deliver on established goals and people & executive stakeholder management in addition to expertise in data management, reporting and visualization.
What You Will Do:
Lead the global strategy for People Reporting at the enterprise level and establish scalable solutions to support end users. This strategy should be closely tied to the IT data strategy.
Influence and drive strategy to enable scale and alignment across multiple teams
Understand key business needs, operationalize them into people metrics, and deliver them at scale
Leveraging statistical techniques and predictive modeling, this role plays a vital part in enhancing the organization's data-driven initiatives
Build an architecture and monitoring mechanism across the data reporting landscape to have an “always on” sensing and response methodologies established
Research and develop predictive analytic tools. Customize analytic solutions to specific client needs
Develop and deliver self-service knowledge, dashboards and reports
Refine and implement an end-to-end data quality framework to continuously improve data quality
Ensure consistent methodology and alignment on data collection, definitions, metrics, and reporting across our tools and teams
Manage all aspects of our people data queue, from process design to execution
Establish an operational model to prioritize and support ad-hoc data requests
Serve as the primary business owner that works with our Finance and IT teams to build, maintain and improve our people and finance data tools and products
Grow, manage, & develop a high-performing cross-functional data solutions team
Partner with Human Capital team members to enhance and promote effective use of self-service dashboards
Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data
Develop quality training programs and a change management approach to improve adoption & business impact
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Ten (10) + years of prior relevant experience
5+ years of related experience in project implementations, business analysis, process design and managing customers
Experience with large-scale data management, data structures, and data schemas (i.e., relational database structures)
Knowledge of data visualization principles and experience conveying data
Knowledge of industry trends with the ability to anticipate and evaluate their potential impact on the organization
Broad knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnostics of models
Communication, team building and leadership experience
Experience in Tableau, SQL and HRIS systems
Knowledge of HR business process fundamentals
Proven proficiency in statistical software and coding languages and experience with graph databases and analytics (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, Python, Cypher)
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
Experience with mergers and acquisitions
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday Reporting, Workday Prism and Power BI.
