Summary
Design, build, configure, and deliver enterprise SAP EWM solutions by combining deep warehouse and supply chain domain expertise with AI assisted delivery and integration practices. The role focuses on accelerating solution delivery, improving operational reliability, and embedding pre built AI and automation capabilities into warehouse workflows—without developing or training AI models.
Core Responsibilities
Enterprise SAP EWM Delivery
Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions aligned with warehouse operations and enterprise supply chain processes.
Translate business and logistics requirements into scalable EWM configurations and extensions.
Support end to end lifecycle activities including enhancements, integrations, testing, and production support.
AI Assisted Development & Productivity
Use AI copilots and GenAI tools to accelerate configuration analysis, functional design documentation, testing, defect resolution, and technical troubleshooting.
Apply AI assisted techniques for process optimization, root cause analysis, and operational insights.
Leverage pre built AI services and automation (where available) to enhance warehouse efficiency and decision making.
Integration & Process Enablement
Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP/non SAP systems using standard enterprise patterns.
Collaborate with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable end to end warehouse execution.
Understand AI concepts at an applied level (automation, intelligent insights, predictive signals) without owning model design.
Operational Excellence & Quality
Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
Support testing cycles, cutovers, and hypercare with AI assisted quality checks and accelerators.
Drive continuous improvement using data, feedback, and AI enabled productivity.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as a trusted advisor to business, logistics, and operations stakeholders.
Communicate complex warehouse and system concepts clearly to non technical audiences.
Work alongside AI native specialists when advanced AI capabilities are required.
Primary Skills (Must Have)
SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) functional and/or techno functional expertise.
Strong understanding of warehouse management and supply chain processes.
Experience using AI assisted tools or copilots for delivery, analysis, or support activities.
Ability to align system design with business and operational outcomes.
Secondary / Good to Have Skills
Experience with SAP S/4HANA logistics modules and integrations.
Exposure to automation, analytics, or intelligent insights in supply chain contexts.
Familiarity with enterprise SDLC, testing, and change management practices.
Working knowledge of data analysis or reporting for warehouse operations.
What This Role Does Not Require
No training or fine tuning of AI/ML models.
No ownership of AI architectures or MLOps pipelines.
Focus remains on integration, adoption, and productivity uplift, not AI research.
