Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Role Summary: The Oracle Database Project Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end database migration projects—from assessment and planning to execution and post-migration validation. The role demands strong technical expertise in Oracle database technologies, combined with proven leadership and stakeholder management skills to ensure smooth and timely delivery. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end Oracle database migration projects, including on-premises to cloud or cross-platform migrations. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with DBAs, infrastructure, application, and network teams and other stake holders to ensure seamless migration execution. Perform risk assessments, establish mitigation strategies, and manage escalation processes effectively. Track and report project progress, status, and key metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to organizational standards, security policies, and compliance requirements during migration. Oversee pre- and post-migration validation, performance benchmarking, and tuning activities. Coordinate change management activities, ensuring minimal business disruption. Drive continuous improvement, documenting lessons learned and standardizing best practices for future migrations. Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and mentor team members to strengthen database migration capabilities. Professional & Technical Skills: Must-Have Skills: Must have Expertise on MS project any other client approved tools. Proven experience in database migration managment. Understanding of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RMAN. Excellent understanding of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid). Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Good-to-Have Skills: Knowledge of database upgrade and consolidation strategies. Exposure to ITIL practices and service delivery processes. PMP or PRINCE2 certification (preferred). Additional Information: This position is based at the Bengaluru/Hyderabad location Have to be available during CST hours
