PURPOSE: This position reports to the Warehouse Shift Lead. Control movement, storage, receipts and shipments of all inventory items at warehouse and plant to achieve and maintain accurate inventory.
SAFETY LEADERSHIP: Embodies commitment for a safe workplace; acts as a role model on safety leadership, activities and communication
RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITY:
· Control movement, storage, receipts and shipments of all inventory items at warehouse and plant to achieve and maintain accurate inventory by following proper procedures.
· Perform required cycle counts to track efficiency of inventory control procedures.
· Perform all other duties as required.
· Drive a sit down and a stand up forklift.
Must be trained, acknowledge, and follow all Amcor Live Saving Rules
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Six (6) months forklift experience preferred
Have good attendance and the ability to work required overtime.
Ability to operate sit down and stand up forklifts safely.
Good understanding of RF/Computer system and procedures.
Familiarity with general warehouse layout and material flow process.
Good math and verbal/written communications skills.
Ability to comprehend and complete written and verbal instructions.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. with assistance, push and pull full manual pallet jacks of product.
