Seneca Holdings is seeking a Business Development Account Specialist – Infrastructure & FF&E to support our Critical Infrastructure group. This is a full-time, remote position. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities; update and maintain research materials on clients, partners, opportunities, and other assigned projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify, develop, and implement strategies to attract new customers and increase revenue and profitability for the organization.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Seneca products and services.
  • Gain working knowledge of Government systems to access data and opportunities which fit the Seneca business model for success.
  • Assist BD Sales in researching and vetting new potential business partners.
  • Review new potential opportunities with BD Sales on a regular basis, review scope, and determine appropriateness for pursuit.
  • Support Proposal process ensuring on time delivery of accurate, compelling solicitation responses.
  • Make updates and maintain accuracy of information in pipeline system for assigned team.
  • Attend regular team calls with Sales internal teams related to accounts, opportunities, and solicitation responses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to achieve improved customer outcomes.
  • Assist BD team and cross-functional teams in developing winning proposals/pitches for new and innovative offerings.
  • Prepare presentations, pitches, internal communications and reports as required.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field and/or prior experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Proven track record of identifying and establishing partnerships, generating leads and sales, and achieving business development goals/ Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques.
  • Effective time management, organizational and multitasking skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Possess critical thinking and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to conduct market research, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong project management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, contribute to positive customer outcomes.
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office, sales contact software, other Seneca software, and Government systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to learn new knowledge, processes, and employ learnings into daily work applications.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming.
  • Dependability - Takes responsibility for actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounts.
  • Be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
