The Opportunity
 

HVDC is looking for a motivated Health Safety and Environmental Specialist to join our international team and contribute to a safer, more sustainable future. You will be part of the HSE Service team, supporting and driving improvements across a global organization.

As an HSE Specialist, your main responsibility is to promote and lead Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives, with a strong focus on supporting HVDC Service Organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive and promote a strong HSE culture

• Train, coach and support managers and employees on HSE actions and compliance

• Take on an expert role in HSE related IT systems and tools, support users both remotely and during site visits

• Support development, improvement and implementation of internal HSE related documentation

• Analyze HSE performance, gather data and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities

• Drive HSE initiatives and follow up on HSE targets

• Deliver actionable insights and best practices in a dynamic, global environment

• Assist with internal and external audits, including ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 50001:2018

• Lead or support incident investigations and lessons learned

• Support compliance with local and international HSE requirements and standards

Your Background

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in HSE, Environmental Science, or related field

• 5+ years experience in health, safety, and/or environmental roles

• Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels

• Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)

• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001

• Knowledge of Swedish legislation within the HSE area
