What You Will Do:

The Project Manager for Industry and Government Integration will be responsible for overseeing and managing both industry defense contractor and external government requirements impacting a large, international client organization’s efforts towards achieving both an initial trial balance for asset inventory records and accurate asset visibility between digital records and physical asset positions. The Project Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships as the point of contact with key stakeholders for the relevant Defense contractors and external DoD organizations, including, but not limited to both OUSD(A&S), OUSD-Comptroller, U.S Navy, and U.S. Air Force.  

Additional responsibilities include:  

  • Plan and facilitate large and small meetings and working sessions to gather requirements, assess barriers to implementation and develop strategies for buy-in

  • Synthesize Industry and external DoD specific requirements and/or impacts within the Federal regulatory environment

  • Facilitate meetings and engage in walkthroughs with key stakeholders to steer expertise and address complex challenges

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance

  • Bachelor's Degree -OR- FOUR (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of education

  • FIVE (5) or more years of experience commercial A&D acquisition and/or supporting federal government customers in acquisition and sustainment

  • Must be able to independently travel within the Washington, DC Metro area to meet with employees, prospective candidates, and Federal clients.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline

  • TEN (10) or more years of experience in A&D production, acquisition and/or sustainment

  • DoD, DoN, for DAF Acquisition experience

  • Experience in Federal Accounting, Asset Management and/or Financial Management 

  • Aerospace Engineering certification

  • PMP certification

  • DAIWA Level III certification in one of the following:

    • Sustaining Engineering

    • Maintenance Planning and Management

    • Design Interface

  • Certification and/or experience in Continuous Improvement (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints)

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, flexible, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to promptly adapt, respond quickly to new information and changing scope in a matrix organization

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
