Summary of Role:

Seeking a US Compliance & Reporting Analyst to be part of our team to advance our strategy for supporting business information related to US Sales & Use Tax and Property tax compliance.  As a key influencer, you'll be at the heart of organizing and systematizing a broad range of business data. This encompasses capturing information on accounts payable, procurement, fixed assets, real estate, and more.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring tax compliance for US Sales & Use Tax, electricity tax, real estate and business personal property tax.
  • Solely responsible for the timely filing of monthly / quarterly / annual tax returns and applications for Sales & Use Tax for the US GlobalFoundries entities.
  • Liaison to internal consumers (AP, Procurement, Etc.) for Sales and property tax questions.
  • Research complex US sales and property tax issues, especially those subject to judgment and interpretation.
  • Assist with Tax Audit preparation.
  • Preparation and participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as the implementation of regular reconciliations of the accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain audit-ready files.
  • Participation in the optimization and further development of processes pertaining to Vertex software.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Graduating with Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited degree program.  
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing. 
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)  
  • Keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience. 
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. 
  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.  
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated and independent with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work across global locations in matrix role and build effective cross-functional relationships at multiple levels.

Expected Salary Range

$46,100.00 - $82,300.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
