Job Description

As a Data Scientist at our organization, you will constructively disrupt current Data Science practices and design new and better models that transform current and future business processes. You will be expected to directly contribute to the design and development of scaled Data Science algorithms and work with Data and Software Engineering teams to productionize algorithms. You will apply thorough technical knowledge to massive datasets with exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model building to deliver accurate and impactful algorithms. You will develop others as a technical coach and lead or actively participate and contribute to a community of practice group. Lastly, you will become a known expert on one or multiple Data Science techniques and quantify improvement in business areas resulting from the use of the algorithms and modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly contribute to the design and development of scaled Data Science algorithms.

  • Work with Data and Software Engineering teams to productionize algorithms.   

  • Apply thorough technical knowledge to massive datasets with exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model building.

  • Develop others as a technical coach.   

  • Become a known expert on one or multiple Data Science techniques.

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrates depth of applied IT skills across at least two IT job profiles.

  • Bachelor's degree on Data Science, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Computer Science or any related major.  

  • 1 to 3 years of relative experience.

  • Requires at least three relevant roles with experience across domains, OUs, or sub-OUs. 

  • Influences senior leaders on key organizational, business, and technology decisions.

  • Sets and executes IT strategy at the P&G OU, service category, major company IT platform, or infrastructure level.     

  • Actively participates in developing others in the function.
