This internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic production environment. The intern will support a variety of in‑house manufacturing activities—including assembly, inspection, packaging, injection molding, preventive maintenance, and process development. Throughout the internship, they could collaborate with teams across Manufacturing, Materials, and Quality Control to gain a broad understanding of production operations.
A key component of this internship will be a focused continuous improvement project. The intern will analyze an existing manufacturing process, identify opportunities for efficiency or quality enhancement, and present a data‑driven recommendation to leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs assembly and packaging operations for production.
• Works with production equipment, fixtures, and tools to build products per procedures.
• Supports inspection activities that could include de-gating of molded components and other components with and without magnification.
• Documents production information in batch record for each production lot.
• Leverages ERP system to track work on production jobs.
• Performs product line clearance and maintains a clean & well-organized workstation.
• Assists in trouble shooting of manufacturing related problems.
• Submits recommendations to area supervisor when manufacturing documents such as MPI, MFG, etc. require updates.
• Presents Continuous Improvement project focused on enhancing production efficiency to Production leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
• Makes recommendations to improve production efficiency.
• Performs other duties and activities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Currently enrolled in an Advanced Manufacturing or equivalent program.
• Experience as a manufacturing technician for a medical device or related industry a plus
