This position will lead the project management of configured-to-order biological treatment projects, assuring adherence to the Water Infrastructure processes and procedures and ensuring the process and equipment in our scope of supply meet the specification and the client’s satisfaction while optimizing our financial performance.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all commercial aspects of the project and some technical aspects.  

  • Managing the production of design deliverables such as datasheets, drawings, and material submittal documents by internal and external suppliers.

  • Review specifications and drawings to ensure that scope is implemented in line with best practice and with the contract specification.

  • Working with suppliers to obtain quotations, place orders, fulfill contracts, including activities such as FATs.

  • Help to maintain and improve contract margins

  • Produce, maintain, and review project schedules

  • Regularly report on project progress and performance

  • Attend client meetings as needed

  • Ensure that all work carried out complies with established Company policies and procedures/Code of Conduct.

  • Adhere to company processes, quality standards, and company safety programs

  • Accountable for adhering to project document control processes and to ensure project files are complete for future reference.

  • Achieve annual appraisal goals.

  • Participate in local and regional Watermark (Corporate social responsibility) activities

  • To undertake any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer needs. 

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in project management

  • Experience and knowledge of water treatment (or similar) processes and equipment and work experience of a progressively responsible nature in projects involving process equipment.

  • Ability to read, understand and apply engineering specifications and drawings

  • Extensive knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls and Construction work processes.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills in English, (other languages a plus) analytical skills, problem-solving skills and a focus on customer service.

  • Ability to manage their own time and prioritise tasks to ensure completion in a timely manner

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
