JR54672 Senior Operations Improvement Engineer

Dispatching and scheduling Integrated Automation

• Implement industrial engineering, production planning, capacity analysis and scheduling concepts to line management include but not limited to process  constraint, tool allocation, up and down stream loop, delivery determination, material and recipe management, demand priority.

• Automate Fab processes to reduce variability and eliminate waste with integrating AMHS (both S/W and H/W).

• Work and manage automation achievements to minimize capital requirements.

• Understands Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) layout including being able to analyze congestion and slow delivery times

• Optimizes tool-to-tool delivery times and provides on-time delivery

• Develop, simulate, maintain, and improve applications with modelized and optimized tool, software or technology to make right decisions.

• Design and integrate data analytics to have optimization opportunities and innovative solutions.

• Provides metrics and reporting that drive improving AMHS operation efficiency and delivery times

• Benchmark Fab performance against other IMFT, Micron, Intel, and other world class Fabs.

Data Integration

• Understanding of Back End Manufacturing science cross production and engineering include but not limited to processes, quality, software systems, layout, tool design and capability, cycle time, key tool metrics (availability, utilization, and performance efficiency

• Participate in the creation, maintenance, continuous improvement, and training to provide data visualization, analysis, advanced production web-reports, and develop applications to improve production metrics management.

• Identifies, innovates, designs and leads improvement efforts or special projects related to cycle time reduction, continues improvement projects, world-wide projects

• Automates daily operations to reduce variability and eliminate waste

• Uses analytical tools/data to drive decisions

• Advanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills

• Intermediate understanding of database management methods and techniques

• Maintain, stabilize service including server administrations

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations

• Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron safety policies

• Follows-up on quality related issues and works towards resolution

• Follow OI development, change and release cycle (change management) disciplines

• Participate and coordinate projects which driven by global central leadership teams.

• Work with management team closely to address root causes of issues as they arise and continuously improve production metrics.

• Leverages and shares global OI best known methods (BKM’s)

• Participate in weekly OI on call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage on critical OI-related issues

Development

• Understands and properly utilizes area technical language

• Creates and delivers effective presentations

• Leads interdepartmental meetings for simple to complex issues and projects

• Mentors others and clearly articulates complex ideas and issues to a broad audience

• Establishes trusting relationships across local and global partner groups

• Participates in or leads global alignment meetings

• Drives improvement solutions that meet the needs of our customers

• Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills    

Education and Experience:  

• Masters/Bachelor’s degreein Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research or equivalent professional work experience.

• Fluent in spoken and written English and be an effective communicator. (TOEIC score above 780)

• Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)

• Knowledge or experience with MS Power BI, Tableau

• Knowledge or experience with Angular/Vue/ReactJS or any front-end related framework

• Knowledge or experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Knowledge or experience in developing web application using python with Django, C#, or other language.

• Knowledge or experience with Git workflows

• Knowledge in using Power Automate, python or other RPA tools
