Current Basic Life Support (BLS). SCRQSA Certification required.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Basic Life Support required upon hire. Thereafter, must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS), either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.Student Ultrasound Technologist transition to Ultrasound TechnologistUpon completion of the certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), a promotion will be awarded from a student tech position to a vacant ultrasound technologist position. The promotion wage increase will be based on passing the ultrasound tech registry. Benefits and sign on bonus will also be awarded if eligible based on position.Physical Requirements: NOTE: The following descriptions are applicable to this section: 1) Continuous – 6-8 hours per shift; 2) Frequent – 2-6 hours per shift; 3) Infrequent – 0-2 hours per shift)
