Job Description Summary
The Senior Product Line Leader for the BWRX 300 modular product line is a key contributor within the Product Management organization, responsible for driving the definition and execution of modular product strategies in alignment with business objectives, program commitments, and enterprise processes. This role focuses on driving clear program objectives, ensuring disciplined execution through established product development and gate review processes, and enabling informed decision making across technical, commercial, and operational functions.
The Modularization Senior Product Line Leader leads cross functional coordination across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, commercial, and finance teams to monitor development progress, manage cost and schedule tradeoffs, and proactively identify and communicate risks and opportunities. The role supports gate reviews, ensuring readiness, alignment, and transparent communication to internal leadership.
In addition, this position supports business strategy development for the BWRX 300 modular offerings, interfaces with internal commercial teams and prospective customers as needed and drives standardization and scalability objectives across the modular product line. The Modularization Senior Product Line Leader is expected to balance technical depth with program leadership to deliver modular solutions that meet customer, cost, and deployment goals.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver program objectives aligned with BWRX‑300 modularization product strategy, cost targets, deployment schedules, and customer requirements
- Lead cross‑functional planning and execution of modular product development activities across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, finance, and commercial teams
- Monitor and report development progress against technical, cost, schedule, and risk targets; drive corrective actions as needed
- Support lead cross‑functional gate and design reviews, ensuring decision readiness, stakeholder alignment, and adherence to product lifecycle processes
- Identify, assess, and communicate program risks and opportunities; develop and track mitigation and contingency plans
- Evaluate and manage cost, scope, and design tradeoffs to optimize modular standardization, scalability, and total cost of ownership
- Provide updates to internal stakeholders and leadership, providing clear, data‑driven updates and recommendations
- Support development of business cases, value propositions, and modular product roadmaps for the BWRX‑300 product line
- Interface with commercial teams and prospective customers, as appropriate, to communicate modular product concepts, capabilities, and value
- Drive continuous improvement in modularization processes, lessons learned, and best practices across the product lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in mechanical (or related) engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the Engineering or Manufacturing
Eligibility:
- The preferred work location is the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy headquarters in Wilmington, NC, but highly qualified remote candidates will be considered
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
- Candidates must be willing to travel up to 25% domestic or international as needed
Desired Characteristics
- Ability to work with constructors and fabricators to optimize construction and fabrication methodologies
- Nuclear or Gas Turbine equipment experience in the capacity of Engineering, Operations, Construction, Estimating and/or Procurement
- Demonstrate leadership qualities combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with a high level of autonomy and accountability for results: Milestone and resource tracking; Issue identification and resolution
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for ideas, urgency, and decisiveness; takes prompt action to accomplish goals

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $118,600.00 and $197,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
