Role Overview:

As a Security Sales Engineer, you will play an essential role in partnership with your sales account managers to create a solution architecture and proposal that meets the customers' requirements. You will lead and engage throughout the sales lifecycle from discovering the customers' need, writing proposals, solution demonstration, architecting solutions, building the customers trust and leading the proof of concept to gain the technical win. You will also engage with your peers, Professional Services, Support, Marketing, and Channel Partners, applying the resources available to help accelerate the sales opportunities and pipeline creation.

  • Provide customer pre-sales technical support
  • Understand customer applications, and deployment architecture and testing requirements
  • You will develop, implement and manage POCs at customer sites
  • You will communicate with sales, product team, support team, etc… to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct testing and implementation of specific features relating to product offerings.
  • Represent the interests of the customers with internal test replication scenarios while interfacing with development and manufacturing teams.
  • You will be a trusted advisor to the customer, understand customer sensitivities, concerns, and environment
  • Develop an advanced understanding of competitor(s) products, the market in the area of domain/ecosystem expertise and customer requests for new features and functionality

About you:

  • 5+ years of security experience in designing. (managing security solutions with expertise in a few of the following disciplines are preferable: Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Network Security, Forensic Analysis, Data Loss Prevention, Security Management)
  • Native level Japanese (speaking, reading, writing) and business level English in writing
  • Solution sales activities within the sales process to gain the technical win and the customers trust as a trusted adviser
  • Preferable certifications: CISSP
