The FX area is responsible for trading activities related to Latam currencies.
The FX Specialist is responsible for leading the Market Making efforts throughout the assigned trading mandate. The incumbent will drive the growth and retention of existing client relationships, build new products, monetize client flow and market positions and effectively manage risks in the books. The trader should demonstrate disciplined risk taking and be able to react quickly to changing market conditions. Assessment of risk-taking limits should be reviewed periodically with the appropriate areas.
As part of the Global FX options trading team, co-ordinates with the Global FX Options book trading team to deliver consistent pricing to clients, and enhanced risk management of the Global FX Options trading books, in the US time-zone in line with the strategy of the Global FX Options book with a focus on, but not limited to, Latam currencies.
Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:
Manages trading books under corporate and regulation mandates.
Partners with sales on new business development opportunities.
Provides pricing capabilities to client & traders flow.
Promotes enhancement of product capabilities.
Operates coordinated within Global FX options trading team providing consistent pricing and risk management.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or work experience in Business or a related field.
Master’s degree in Business or a related field. (Pref)
Work Experience:
10+ Years Trading experience in FX and 5+ in volatility products.
Skills and Abilities:
Deep understanding of the financial markets and more in particular FX and Volatility.
Deep understanding of the risk management framework and practices.
Full alignment to follow Bank policies, Trading desk mandates and procedures.
Demonstrated thought leader in banking products and services.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong quantitative financial skills.
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to travel, coordinate and work together as part of a global team
Strong analytical / problem solving skills.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
