Who Are We?

Whatever your background, and whatever your goals, we'll help you take the next step towards a better future.

You will be joining our dynamic IT function, with a department consisting of c120 skilled professionals. We are an enabling function collaborating with stakeholders across the business to drive ambitious initiatives within the Homes and Money business divisions.

We have a range of other benefits available to you including;

  • Annual discretionary bonus scheme
  • 25 days standard annual leave + bank holidays + rising 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days
  • Holiday trading scheme allowing the ability to buy and sell additional annual leave days
  • Matching employer pension contribution (up to 10% per annum)
  • Colleague mortgage (conditions apply)
  • Salary sacrifice scheme for hybrid & electric car
  • A commitment to training and development
  • Private medical insurance for all our colleagues

  • Diverse and inclusive colleague networks available for you to join including our Carers and Pride Alliance groups
  • We care about your health and well being – we provide a range of benefits that support this including cycle to work initiative and discounted gym membership

What Will You Be Doing?

As an experienced leader, you will play a pivotal role in optimising the performance of colleagues within scrum teams working in collaboration with the Product Owner and Scrum Master.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of colleagues involved in significant transformation projects, ensuring the skills and capabilities of colleagues are aligned with change initiatives.
  • Identifying colleague development needs and aligning development activities with organisational priorities, learning strategies, and career pathways.
  • Overseeing professional development frameworks, this includes providing direction on skills mapping, learning paths, talent management, and succession planning to colleagues and peers across the department.
  • Assisting the IT Enablement Manager in implementing relevant people processes across the IT function, ensuring consistency across teams to advance the long-term colleague plan.
  • Conducting skills gap analysis to identify workforce strengths and areas needing improvement in alignment with business strategy and future demand.
  • Monitoring employee engagement levels through various feedback mechanisms and leveraging this information to enhance engagement across the department.

What Do We Need From You?

  • Overall, we're seeking a dynamic individual. Working in a fast paced, agile environment requires adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to embrace change. As a performance Manager, you’ll need to thrive in this environment, to support your team to navigate complexity and deliver results iteratively and incrementally.
